I'm not sure if it was my crazy baby dream over the weekend, or a recent invite to a friend's baby shower, but kiddies are on my mind! Not so much the endless crying and sleepless, as the adorable little outfits and creative decor ideas fit for a kid. Growing up with what you would consider a traditional room, I am already scheming ways to incorporate a ladder (and possibly a slide) into a little one's room. Oooh, I love this idea!! A friend of mine had one of these growing up, and not only was it fun and cool, but it also saved lots of space in her room!! (And as a result, she was able to fit an art desk in her room to paint & stuff! :)
ReplyDeleteI have ALWAYS loved lofts too! They're so fun and secretive in a way! I'm putting this in my "idea folder" of how I want our future kids' rooms to look! Soo much fun :-D What about a fireman's hole/pole?? ;-)

ReplyDeleteMy brother and I got loft beds one year (in fact my Dad probably made them which means Andy could make a fabulous version!) and we LOVED them! So fun as a kid!
ReplyDeleteoh ive always wanted a platform bed, and a pink ladder make me want one even more! the last image looks by far the most practical (which is, in my view the aim of having a platform bed), lots of nice storage!
