Wedding Bands

With the big day getting closer I have started to look more seriously for rings. Although Andy and I are leaning towards getting our bands from Knox Jewelers (where he purchased my engagement ring) I couldn't help but scan the web for other options. I love the variety of these bands from Bario-Neal. The best part? They are handmade in the U.S. with reclaimed stones and re-purposed metals. I'm loving the second one.

I'm curious, what are your thoughts on wedding bands? do you wear yours? any favorite designs?

  2. The first band is definitely my kind of ring! It is gorgeous!
I'm very non-traditional in the wedding sense. I've been engaged 2 years, no serious wedding plans and no desire to plan at all. I'd rather get married on the beach with just us there.
To me, I think a tradition silver/gold band is just fine for the groom and the band for the bride all depends on the style she carries about her!

  7. I love the second one!

I LOVE my wedding bands. My husband designed my engagement ring, so we had to try and find a band that would match it well. We ended up getting to lovely thin bands with diamands around to fit on either side of the engagement ring. I love them all!

The jeweler loved his wedding band design so much that it's featured on his website. Here's the link if you want to see. Each little design element had meaning behind it, I love it.

  8. First of all, your engagement ring is beautiful! I love all of the bands you've selected - the second is my fave!

I wear my wedding band all of the time. I was in the same boat as Dionne - my hubby custom-designed my engagement ring so I had to find a band that would fit. One piece of advice - if you're considering an eternity band with diamonds all over, I've heard they wear and tear!

  9. I just bookmarked Bario-Neal. I actually told my boyfriend recently, that when the time comes, I don't want a ring. I've never really liked rings, but I know I'll wear a wedding band. And these bands are really making me rethink my stance on rings. I love that they're reclaimed stones and metals. Brilliant find. Please do let us know what you choose!
