Greetings

Hello! I'm finally back from my extended weekend in Minneapolis. It was such a wonderful party (my friends really out did their selves with great food and drinks and beautiful decor--I hope to post pictures soon!). Thank you all for your lovely comments while I was away, especially the Wedding Bands post! A friend and I stopped at a couple jewelery shops this weekend and (with her consultancy of course) I am leaning towards something like this or this--both are out of our budget but at least I have a better idea of what I'm looking for and thanks again for all of your input, it's all really great!

P.S. These great "Literacy" Greeting Cards by Mateo Ilasco and their written message creates an abstract illustration when rotated 90 degrees.

  1. Glad you had a fun time here in Minneapolis! It was pretty nice this weekend, weather-wise! :-)

Those bands are gorgeous!! I have a small eternity band (embedded round cut) We were going to get one that runs the whole way around the finger, but I was worried about it getting dirty on the palm side, etc. LOVE those greeting cards too! So colorful and fun!

Hope you have a great day :-)

  5. Oh a trip to Minneapolis sounds amazing, that's my favourite city in the US (so far) & because it's one of the only ones I can drive to I'm there a lot in the summer.

Good luck on the ring hunt! It a tough one, we ended up finding a vintage ring set that suited me perfectly & Mister went with a very basic band. =)

  8. I really like the Tiffany band. We had a local jeweler design something for us - I'm sure a jeweler could design the Tiffany one for a fraction of the price. So pretty!!
