In preparation for creating my (i mean "our") ideal registry I started out with some research. Lucky for me, Project Wedding had already defined the Top 10 Bridal Registry Items to get me started. Following their list, here's what I have my eye on:
1) Kitchen Appliances
KitchenAid Stand Mixer, although the Cuisinart Food Processor is up there too2) Gourmet
Nespresso Citiz & Milk Espresso Machine for at home lattes3) Designer Luggage
I won't misplace this bright colored luggage by J.Crew4) Table Setting
I love the earthy look of Heath Ceramics -- these would be great for everyday
OR a patterned set like these from Royal Copenhagen -- it would be fun to mix and match with the white plates I currently have5) Cookware
A new set of pots and pans like these from Crate and Barrel would be nice6) His/Hers Gifts
Not really sure what they mean by this one? Monogrammed bath towels? I think these coffee mugs are adorable! Wouldn't they make a sweet Valentine's Day gift?
7) Bedding
I heart this Draper Striped Ash Duvet Set from Dwell Studio8) Vacuum
Really, a vacuum? What if we buy a house with hardwood floors? Then I will need a Swiffer Sweep Vac9) Electronics
There is no doubt that some of our wedding money will be going towards electronics, my vote is for a desktop Mac10) Wine Refrigerator

My husband was more excited than myself when it came to registering, but I know he couldn't live without our KitchenAid mixer, his All-Clad pots and pans, and this super awesome slow cooker from Williams Sonoma - it has a dish inside that you can take out and put on the stove!

I have Dwell Studio bedding and it is so awesome. Like so awesome. Like the dog loves it so much he pisses on it when he gets the chance awesome.

ReplyDeleteI just got a new iMac like that one before Christmas after my 8 year old one finally decided to die. I love it so much! Also, that bedding set and the Heath ceramics are so on my wishlist now!
